About Us
Twende Community Project Uganda is a non-governmental organization (NGO) dedicated to improving the quality of life for communities through integrated initiatives in education, sustainable development, climate resilience, health, and nutrition. Collaborating closely with local stakeholders—including governments, schools, and partners like Kazinga Tours Ltd—we empower communities to overcome challenges such as malnutrition, flooding, and educational gaps. Our projects range from building libraries and school lunch programs to tree-planting campaigns and livelihood support for widows, all driven by community participation and sustainable solutions.
Our Vision
To create a sustainable, educated, and healthy Ugandan community that is resilient to climate change.
Our Mission
To empower communities through integrated programs focused on education, sustainable development, climate resilience, health, and nutrition, ultimately improving the overall well-being of individuals and families.
Our Story
Founded by Felex Musinguzi, whose journey from poverty to establishing Kazinga Tours inspired Twende’s work, the project reflects a deep commitment to grassroots change. From rebuilding after floods to honoring partnerships (like the Vincent van ’t Hof Library), every initiative is rooted in transparency, community ownership, and long-term sustainability.
The Team
Our team is composed of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals and communities. We work collaboratively to implement innovative solutions that address the challenges faced by the communities we serve.
